A hot compress is a great way to increase blood flow and help speed up the healing process. Applied to a sore area it can reduce pain , swelling and remove any trapped fluids or bacteria .
How to do it!
-Dissolve one quarter teaspoon of fine sea salt into half a pint of freshly boiled water .
-Allow the solution to cool to a comfortable temperature (hot not warm) .
-Soak a cotton pad in the hot solution and apply to the affected area , hold for one minute.
-Remove and replace with another hot cotton pad every sixty seconds .
-Repeat this process consecutively for thirty minutes.
-Dry well afterwards and continue this process twice daily for seven to ten days .
